Q:What are the rules on my contents insurance if I want to work from home?
A:
When you take out Contents cover with us over the internet, your policy automatically covers business equipment in the home up to £4,000, so long as any business use is confined to routine paperwork, telephone calls and computer work and childminding. This includes items such as computers, printers, fax machines and photocopiers.
If any other types of business activities are carried out from your home, please contact us to discuss your requirements. Please follow the link to obtain an online home insurance quote.
