Q:Will my home insurance policy include any excesses?
A:
You can choose from a selection of pre-set voluntary excesses when you purchase online which range between £0 & £500. Selecting a higher excess will reduce your premium. To change your voluntary excess level please select the 'change sums insured' button on the quotation page. Certain compulsory excess levels also apply as follows:
- Section 1 Buildings - Subsidence, Heave or Landslip - £1,000
- Section 2 Contents - Contents lost or damaged whilst you are moving home - £50
- Section 4 Pedal cycles - Excess that applies to Sections 4A and 4B £15
