Your selected question

Q:Are children at university covered by contents insurance?

A:

Under the Churchill contents policy, contents temporarily taken out of the main home by your children who are living in full-time education in the British Isles will be covered against loss or damage caused by an insured event (such as fire, theft or flooding). The most we will pay for a claim is 10% of the contents Sum Insured and there are some exclusions.

In addition, if you have our Personal Possessions cover (available for a small additional premium) you and any members of your family who normally live with you will be covered for accidental loss of, or damage to, your personal possessions anywhere in the British Isles (or abroad for up to 60 days). Personal possessions include items such as laptops, travel tickets, handbags, MP3 players and other everyday items that you take outside the home.

Please see the policy wording for further details or call us for further information.
