Q:Will travel insurance cover me if the tour operator goes bust?

If you booked your holiday through an ABTA registered company, they can help you get your money back. There’s more information on the ABTA website.
Otherwise, if you paid for the holiday with a debit or credit card, you might be able to make a claim through your bank or credit card company. Speak to them for more help. Your Churchill policy doesn’t cover costs to do with travel agents or tour operators going bust. You can get find out exactly what it does cover in our insurance policy booklets.
