Q:Can I get a refund through my travel insurance if I cancel my trip because of terrorism?
A:
If there’s been a terrorist attack in the place you’re travelling to, contact your travel agent or the company you booked with. They might be able to let you change your travel dates, or go to a different destination instead.
If you’ve taken out single trip insurance with us, and you haven’t used it yet, we can rearrange it for your new dates for free.
You are covered for medical and personal accident claims due to terrorism. But, like most travel insurance policies, it doesn’t cover cancellation.
